Hi Guys,
I'm lookin at doing some work to my new VX SS. At the moment it has extractors and 2x 2 1/2 exhaust and apparently the last owner (a mechanic) gave it a performance tune. Doesn't go too bad, better than a stock SS.
Anyway, I wouldent mind installing a CAI OTR and getting a Mafless tune if this is possible with the current config. What are your guys opinions on me doing this ? Would it make a better impact on performance ? Would it be worthwhile ?
How much has it cost you fella's to get this work done ? Can you recommend anyone in or near Brisbane ?
Cheers,
Glen
My mate got a ebay tune and OTR and shit it flys. shifts very nice. tune was $300 otr was $120 he got it for. Some of the things he can beat is pretty good. Sayn that not everyone likes them mostr prefer real time tuning as do I. He has beatn a fe things I didnt think he would.

Oh and you would need a Mafless tune for the OTR to work, By the sounds of it you may just have a MAF tune?

power torque or hi torque are good work shops
or you could get a mail order tune off someone like chipmaster or oztrack
you should see 15+rwkw gain depending on what the tune you have now is like
