Reattaching Side Strips on Calais

On one side of my Calais, the side strips have started to come away from the car body. When i open the passenger front door, it gets caught and bangs every now and then. I've tried a few pieces of double sided tape, but it never ends up sticking. Any advice on getting it to reattach ?
