LS1 Edit

I recently switched over from bikes to cars and have purchased a VX 11 SS with LS1 edit done (maf still in), Air box mod, FE2 suspension, headers, etc etc....

My question is:

Is there any need to reset the pcm?? (to correct flat spots, rough idle or fuel consumption etc) or will this effect the LS1 edit?

Or is this edit permanently in the PCM till i have it tuned again? therefore resetting is no prob.

Reason i ask is, I had a PC111 setup on my bike, so every time i changed something i just hooked up my laptop and loaded a new map to iron out any problems.

The tune is fixed and would most likely need the pcm unlocked before you could play with it, but im not 100% sure if LS1 edit lock it, most tuners do. Also if they unlock it most will remove tune also!

Will pulling the 10 amp engine fuse and going through the PCM reset procedure and the Idle Learn Procedure remove the LS1 edit back to stock setup or just reset it??

I don't want to lose the LS1 edit... i just wanna refresh it and clear any bad data.. or is there no need to???
