Hello all, I have the stock standard radio and tape deck, and i want to take it out and perform a couple of mods and fix a couple of things that need fixing
but i dont have the radio code, i do have a little sticker that looks a little like a price sticker with the model number and a four digit code but with zeros on it so im just curious as to whether the code would be anywhere else or even inside the unit im about to take apart?
anybody got an idea?
oh and also if i buy a stock radio set from a wrecker out of a vt or vx what can i do to get the code because it obviously wont be out of my car.

Take your car to a Holden Dealer, they will match the VIN number to the radio code.....Will charge you for the service though!

Really? Last time I walked into Holden with my rego papers they gave me the code for free. I guess it depends on the dealership.
