Hey guys,
Heaps random problem here. Picked up the car from a service a few days ago, went to jump in and go for a drive and "error" came up on the dash, and my air bag, engine, oil pressure, and battery warning lits all came up. Car still started and drove fine. About 30min into the trip all the warning lights went out. After i got home i flicked the car to ON and the same thing happened.
The next day random lights just kepted appearing, engine and or airbags etc. Car runs fine and everything...
Any ideas???
thanks again
ive heard this has something to do with the ABS module?

Well i noticed when it first started that my trac and low trac light would come on randomly first, then everything else.
Damm i hope this dosnt cost too much money![]()
Did it do this before your car was serviced? If not I'd be asking the mechanic what the hell they did to it.

yeah take it back because the mechanic has stuffed something up.
Guaranteed because it wasn't doing this before the service right?
Definately

Picked the car up on Thurs, started doing in on saturday.
It does sound like the ABS module is the problem but I don't think the mechanic can be blamed.
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
yer some times stuff just happens at the wrong times, like the abs shitting itself as u hop in the car and the mechanic may have not had the problem 5 minutes earlier ... holdens for ya
Sometimes you get a bad connection in the plug for the abs module and you can get away with just cleaning the plug and connection points. No promises this will fix your problem but might be worth a shot cause it sounds related to the abs module.
yeah probably i mean if the mechanic has tuned it from a techII but. alot of people seam to say its the ABS so.... i havens had much experience with a VT commodore ........ but my Gregory's is very helpful ll......
