Save me pulling apart my dash, amongst other things, can anyone tell me the location of the BCM in a 98 VT Exec Wagon please.
Cheers, Daz.
It's behind the dash on the driver's side. No need to remove any of the dash, just the lower trim panel, then you can get at it from underneath. From memory there are no screws, it just clips into a bracket.
I just checked my Gregory's and you need to remove the lower dash panel ( the fuse cover). Then to remove the BCM push the bottom of it towards the front of the vehicle to release the lower retaining clips, then pull the BCM down to release it from the upper retaining bracket. Then disconnect the wiring connectors and pull it out.
Disconnect the Negative battery terminal before doing this.
I recommend you get a Gregory's manual for about $40.
