Vt wont start and run

Hi all, my son has a VT acclaim V6. I fitted a amp and sub for him. All went well and it runs fine. I went 2 start up and was like battery flat, so put on charge overnight an tryd again. It startd then stalled and then nothing, only dash lights comng up and beeping sound. Also electric windows,keyless entry and interior fans not working either. Got me stuffed. Any ideas??? Cheers

If i drilled into ABS module wiring under centre console, but i,m sure I repaired the wiring, would that cause these problems?

If you had the battery on charge overnight it should be fully charged, sounds like a battery problem but at the same time fitting amps etc you should up-grade your battery anyway.

It could be just coincidence that the battery died. Fit a new one. Also check the main charge wire off the back of the alternator, these have a tendency to corrode and have too much resistance. It is the thick yellow one, see if the yellow insulation has discoloured. With the extra draw from the amp it may have too much load on it and has sh*t the tin.
