I'm looking at buying a gold late nineties vt berlina (cop invisibility FTW) with grey leather seats, i was wondering if the leather needed any special care as nobody in my family has owned a car with a leather interior.
Some leather conditioner will help prolong the life of your leather and prevent cracks and splitting. After the leather starts to age it can start to look real shitty, so try and look after it. Armourall make two types of leather conditioner - 1 spray on, 1 blob on.
I've got the armorall leather spray one and I think it's crap..doesn't seem to do anything except wet them for a short period.. I got some new meguiars stuff i'm going to try tomorrow.. but yeah cleaning your seats + conditioning the leather goes a long way towards keeping them looking good.
