tractiob control light

hey guys,

the traction light in my vx is always on, have tried pressing the button ect and it wont go off, i have also tried doing a burnout (for testing purposes) and it doesnt want to do it, starts spinnig then dies. any thoughts on what it could be?

in the manual it says it means the Trac ctrl has an error if the light stays on constantly

Pull the fuse. See if you magically lose traction. Put the fuse back in and IPP check your T/C switch is actually working. Switches CAN fail.

my trac control does the opposite wont light up when i press the button or anything.. but my car jus dies (same as urs) when the wheels go to spin i really wanna fix it

after doing a skid in a controlled enviroment our vx v8 calais the trac off light stays on and wont re enable the trac control till we restart the car not sure why

My one says trac control off and wont change even when i click it. Angled the whole street to test it and it wasnt working....i aint complaining

if the T/C is comming on immeadiatly after starting the car, then it's the T.P.S. has failed.

pfft thats nothin - my vt trac light is always on and my car doesn;t even have traction control, hahahaha....

after i put the new engine in i will test again, more burnouts for testing purposes . thanks for the input guys

MY trac control sometimes turns off while driven. I have to stop the car an restart it and it must reset it ?
