Depends on what you want done to it.

Try googling for engineers and calling for quotes.

Another alternative is to do an engine swap.
Basically you swap your engine for a re-conditioned one saving you $$$

I just had a fully reco motor put in my car last week. Had a few extra's added like high ratio roller rockers and had the heads done a little. I also had most of the bolt on's replaced with new, top gun leads, platinum plugs, water pump, idler bearings, hoses, belt, 81c thermostat, radiator etc. Most of this i bought from eBay cheaply enough and just got them to fit it. Anyway it was the best thing i ever did to the car. Mine had 300,000 hard k's on it with a blown head gasket. I also had the tranny replaced, i figured if i was going to do it, do it right as the tranny's torque converter was slipping as well. The basic reco changeover was $2700 with a 12 month 20,000 k warranty. Mine all up cost $4000, still cheaper than a new car and i now have a good reliable machine and i also know the car inside out, i haven't bought someone else's problems. The only thing is whilst the motor is now almost brand new the body is still 300,000 k's old, i am lucky in that all the work, polishing, washing, cleaning etc has paid of as the shell is in excellent nick for a 10yo car. I have however replaced the front and back seats from Exec to Calais as the drivers seat broke and the middle seat belt went in the back seat, i have a wagon by the way. I also replaced the front rotor's, hubs and radius rod bushes etc. Most of the body stuff has been a gradual thing though. I still will spend a bit more money on it but as like all on here our car's are our hobby and love tinkering on our cars anyway.

I hope my experience helps. Cheers, Daz.

it will be an expensive road if you choose to do a total engine swap, especially l67. you need the wireing loom, computer ect. to go with it.

I think he meant an L76. Excellent choice and there are a few around that know all about it no. It's one mean V8 that gets near 300rwkw with just a cam and mafless tune

Im pretty sure he means the factory supercharged engine but either one is a good choice. As said above its about $2700 for a reco (exchange type) but with new accessories which include all the hoses sensors and the like and fiotting you'll be looking at 4-5 grand. If you went to a reconditioner for a one off you may get away with it cheaper as reco have a lot of things done that you might not need one your own personal engine.
