I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
You can convert manual to electric, so I don't see why you couldn't go the other way.
I guess all you'd need is the manual regulators + handles and the door trims?
Do you know what they did to come to the conclusion it was the motor, because without taking the door trim off there is no sure way of telling. It might just be a faulty switch or broken wire in the door loom. I'd get a second opinion unless you know and trust the place you are using now.
Are you able to work on the car yourself?

vt power windows suck, one of my windows broke when my girlfriend was winding it down and we went over a bump! gay! and now my drivers side window stops a bit before the top!
sucks,
my brother has manual windows in his vt and he said his were f***ing up too??
Actually winders r far worst then elect. windows. When was the LAST time u service them ? Checking, cleaning and lubricating? Out of sight out of mine,'till it breaks down
.
A second hand motor would have to cost less than a full set of manual regulators - and there would be less labour in fixing the one window than retrofitting all four - whether you do it yourself, or pay someone.
