Dodgy aircon switch, angry!

Hey guys,
I got VX II exec and the aircon switch is starting to play up. Sometimes it stays on other times i cant turn it on. Can i replace the switch itself? or do i need to buy the whole panel with the demist and heater controls on it?

Aha i ended up pinching a switch for my car from a dodgy wreckers, easy to just replace the whole panel and switches.

Besides ive seen them going cheap on eBay, nearly bought one for a tenner the other week.

And_ROOS, how does the panel come out? did you have to remove the dash facia or does the panmel clip in?

You have to remove the fascia. From memory you need to remove the two screws down near you cigarette lighter and pull out the little compartment there with the flip down lid. This then reveals another couple of screws, take them out and i think all that's left is a couple over the other side near your speedo cluster. Someone will know exactly, but the control itself just has a couple of screws and a plug that you remove, easy job!

Just be careful pulling it though there will be a other switches like the mode switch etc that will be attached to the fascia as well.
