Need help with VX Berlinda Standard HU

Hey guys, I just installed a Hi-Lo convertor to run and amp and sub off the standard head unit,

Now I have installed it and I have amp and sub on FM stereo great.

I change the head unit to CD and the amp and sub don't want to work..
has any1 got a convertor and had this problem? or know how i can fix it as i want it working for both not just one.

Its running off my rear speaker wiring.

we have a converter in our calais and dont have any problems were did u pick up the power feed for the remote turn on for the amp it sounds like u might of hooked it up to the power antenna there will be no other reason for it to stop working i hooked my remote turn on to the mobile phone connector plug on the acc side of plug
