I just bought a vx Berlina, i was wondering how low i could go without scraping the fronts/rears on the driveway and on speedbumps (quite a few of the bastards around my house). would superlows be alright or should i stick to lows or even *shudder* stock height?
im pretty sure lows will lower your car about 1 inch, unless you have the holden FE2 suspension then it wont change the height. Super lows will looks nice and you wont scrap if your aware of the bumps and take them a bit slower than normal.

cool, where can i get a set of super-lows cheap, would second hand be a good idea or will it ruin my car (do you need the camber kit with superlows?)
sl's shouldnt scrub....anything lower will...on my old car i had ssl at the front and sssl at the back and they scrubbed like ****...even with rolled gaurds and camber kit
what about shocks, do i need shocks? (trying to do this as cheap as possible)
you dont need them, just replace them with some better ones when your stock ones get old
