    Default exhaust gurgle

    i own a VT Berlina (V6) with a 2 1/2 catback exhaust system and i wannted to know if anyone knew any little mods to make it "gurgle" a bit more

    Gurgle? Get a custom exhaust and headers. But if u want to do a cheapie just get rid of the resonator.

    Fill your exhaust with water.

    Or you could put a longer crank in it and araldite two cylinders to the front of the engine.

    Seriously though, it is what it is, it's a V6 and there is only so much that you can play around with sound wise.

    Larger diameter exhausts work sometimes, maybe look at replacing the last few feet with 3" tube.

    V8 conversion is the only way to get a decent sounding car!

    No point trying to make a V6 sound like a V8, it never will.

    Make a V6 sound like a nice V6, there are nice 6 noises, but they aren't that throaty gurgle you get with an 8. It's apples and oranges.

    oversize and manual shifting is your best bet.
    Need some parts for my VH 253:
    Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
    Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.
