i was thinking about buying a set and tinting them with nightshade and putting them in my vt.

has anyone done this yet?

does anyone else reckon it'd look alright?

cos im sick of my tail lights now, i was gonna go vx calais tails but everyone is doing that too now, so maybe these lights tinted would be different.

any thoughts? cheers, maybe someone could even photoshop them onto my vt tinted, thanks heaps.

tinted lights just look cheap becuse the surface is all matt n not shiny, just go vx calais with chome strip, looks hott on black cars

go the euros mate, would look sweet as, tint it with nite shades and run a couple of coats of clear over it all, would come up every nicely, i tinted the rear of my old vl. Looked nice

still yet to see a set of decent lights avaliable aftermarket for any commodore.

This is yet another example of what not to do! They look shit, and within a week, 500 other VT/X owners will have them, so they'll lose the 'stand out' factor.

I just spent 5 minutes trying to work out what your plates mean. I thought it was "no 5.7 ??" couldnt work it out untill i read no style.

Not a bad idea man tho only thing u'll have 2 mod them like darons and have ur reverse lights in with the indicators.

nite shades + clear coat that u can cut back 2 bring up that glossy look if thats wat ur after? tho since ur cars always dirty a mat finsh wouldnt look bad lol

mayb even just tint a set of series 2 lights and 4get the clears?

Those tail lights do not have a red reflector in them and neither do the ones on your car at the moment. You could be defected without red reflectors somewhere on the back of your car. You will obviously need red brake and tail light globes if you buy those, and I don't think that will look good.

There r actually reflectors on those tail lights he has on the car they r in built into the brake light.

yeah darons white one, i like that. sorta looks like a falcon though

yeah i probably wont go for the clears now i think about it..

series 2 might not look too bad tinted.. anyone seen that done?

Yes I could see the euro ones have a clear reflector but not red and I couldn't really see the reflectors in yours, so sorry about that.
