The passenger side radiator fan in my VX has died. So I raided my brothers VT wreck. Unfortunately, the earlier VTs had a 4wire fan motor whereas the VX has only 2wires.

It seems to me the VT has an -earth, low speed+, high speed+ and an rpm sensor wire.

The VX has -earth and +pos

Is there any reason I can't use the VT fan motor - connecting up the earth and high speed wires in the VX?

Guy at holden tells me that after 10/99 VTs adopted the system that carries over to the VX.
