    Default How do you change Coil Packs

    hey all.
    is this a really easy change or will i find that if i unscrew the screws some spings and shiet will fling out and ill be stuck not knowing where to put it back?

    Remove battery terminals. Easy as undoing the 2 screws on each coil pack. You will need 7/32 socket. If you have standard stereo make sure you have pin code.

    Disconnecting the battery is just a safety precaution.

    so i guess nothing will pop out then... do all original stereos have a pin code???
    sounds easy enough...

    yeh mate pin should be in ur cars user manual... it will be like a lil sticker

    no big deal, pop into a dealer with some rego papers and they will give it to you. ( some will charge for it)

    go to holden with your vin number and proof of ownership they might be able to look it up for you

    thats funny mine didnt reset the stereo when i took my battery out
    On the look out for my new VT 98

    i think it has to be disconnected for a certain amout of time before it resets... 3 hours? i think its somethin like that
