    Default Rear stop lights

    Hey guys,

I have just incurred a problem with my VX s2 berlina. I was driving home last night and was informed that my rear brake lights ain't working.

I have checked the fuses nil problems.

I don't think that all my brake lights would just all blown at the one time, could they?.

If any1 has any suggestions to check it out before i get someone to look at it, that would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

If its all of them, its the switch on the brake pedal. I'm not familiar enough with VXs to describe it exactly, but looking on the back of the pedal will solve the problem (should be able to buy a new one from motor traders, or 2nd hand from a wrecker)

Or you could have blown all the bulbs one at a time over a period of time and didn't know about it until somebody noticed you have no rear brake lights at all. Seen it so many times following behind drivers with 1 or 2 brake lights that aren't working and they're driving around oblivious to that fact.

Hey guys, yeh, it was the switch, but there are 2. It was the lower one, thats not really a push button switch just a push button.
