air bags

I have a 2003 vu ss ute and i would like to lower it but use airbags on the rear, (to maintain height while loaded) i have been searching the net for the bags but most websites are useless with the tech details!


Does anyone have any ideas?

check out a place called Tubular Suspension Systems. I'm pretty sure their website comes up with some good articles and when I was looking at bags for another car I called him up and he was really helpful. I think he is also a engineer and his bag work is pretty well regarded however leaning to the expencive side... Then again it's better to do it right the first time.

You could try POLY AIR or another one is THE AIR BAG MAN.... thats a few we use at work for 4x4 stuff might be able to help

Have a look on Ebay as I saw rear air bags for commodores on there up around $500 for the kit

Yeah seen those to but most list only for NON IRS.. so yeah almost got caught till i read the ad properly
