Hi all,
I know this has been answered before, but trying to search on JC for it will take way too long, so I was hoping someone could just answer really fast so as to save me time.
I have read in a post somewhere that you can put some powder or something down your power window seals (or somewhere else?) to reduce the amount of friction when the window goes up or down, therefore making it faster..
What is this product and where is it best to be placed?
Thanks
Denno
seriously guys, doesn't anyone know?
graphite poweder
its a dry lubricant
ok thanks, where about do I put it though? And where's the best place to buy it? Bunnings? Supercheap Auto? etc.
Take door trims off, grease motor gears ,lube guides+channels, check plastic guides in the channels,if worn buy new ones and replace.(dont worry, cheap).
Check rivets,if worn / move drill'em out put new ones.
Also use silicon based spray on door handle / lock and linkages for smooth operation.
i couldnt see any of this stuff when i took the trim off , is there more i have to remove to fix the window that stops 3 inches from the top? vt berlina btw any help much appreciated
