Hi All

Just wondering what everyone's opinion is on how often you should get ya auto serviced, and is it easy to change the oil yourself ?

I like to do most things myself .. and by no means am I a mechanic, but I like to learn everything there is to know about my car when it comes to servicing.

On a general topic ... what service tasks does everyone think are easy enough to do yourself without having to own "a workshop"? Oil and filter are easy .. what else?

think about flushing the trans when you organise a service. a reputable mecahanic explained why. if you flush the trans and then fill the whole thing with fresh oil you have only fresh oil in it. makes sence to me. however depends on the milage. I did mine at 100K and it makes a huge difference. smoother and nicer.
