    Default wide/flared guards and Quarter Panels vt/vx

    hey i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get wide/flared guards and quarter panels for vt/vx..i think it would look tough and im interested in doing it...even a flared kit perhaps?? any info or opinion would be a help...thanks

    there were wide gaurds on Ebay not long ago.
    might still be there.
    doubt they are metal though either.

    something like below, is all hand made, and if you want that fat look and not having it look cheap and stuck on, its really the only way to go..

    its pointless having bigger guards unless you're going to be running wheels with lower offset.

    and if anyone isn't too sure what offset does to the way a car looks, look at the rear wheels in the following pics. not holdens but you get the idea

    18x8 +40ish offset.


    17x11 -6 offset



    and before you say that you cant drive with wheels like that


    in other words, only get wider guards if you've got the wheels to fill them

    sometimes the budget dont stretch that far to do all mods at once..

    but definately something to think about, the rims on that monaro had a massive dish.

    thanks guys...that monaro looks insane..and yes something similar to that is what i was after...anyone else know anything about similar guards that have a custom look?
