    Default Hatch Not Closing

I'm having a bit of a problem in my VX S Pack. The hatch just below the CD player (pictured below) does not shut.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix or will I need a new one?

Their is a little plastic clip that locks the cover up.i would say thats the problem its broken.Holden want some crazy price for this clip see if jaycar or some electric parts place have it.Check your back one on the back of the centre concole to see if it clips. That will tell you if the front one is the clip.

You got lucky just having to buy the clip only. I pulled my hatch apart to see if I could fit it and the hinges for the door and everything just broke apart. I'm gonna have to buy the whole unit by the looks of it. It's just glued up for now.

I need to replace the back one also. What did you search to find the clips on eBay? Because I have no idea what the hatch is officially called anyway lol.

DO NOT buy one of those for your rear compartment as they are not the same clip, i pulled mine out today to take a look and its a white clip that is nothing like that one shown in the eBay link above. So to answer my own question now, the front and rear compartment setups are different.

Im going to goto the wreckers tomorrow to see if i can pick up a rear compartment. I can let you know on prices

I bought one of those, and after a bit of fiddling, found that I needed to trim off one of the retaining clips off the tab, as it was putting too much friction inside the catch, causing it to stick. It is held in by one tab, and it still works great.
