Default Check power train light only once....

    Hey guys,

So as i was starting up my car to go watch the misses netball game i notice the check power train light stayed on, After i got to the misses house, i turned off the car, started it again, the light went off... I checked for codes by holding the up arrow and mode button, it came up saying "T-00" but when i press the arrows i can scroll through from 1 - 32, do i have 32 faults lol, or could you always scroll through them all, some had letters next to the numbers, eg "T-30 nu", one had a letter "H".

So long story short, is my tranny screwed? or is this just a wierd once off? I havent checked my trans fluid yet, i will check tomorrow and let you know.

They were not fault codes you read. You get the codes by bridging terminal 5&6 on the diagnostic terminal below the dash on the driver's side. Then you count the series of flashes from the check engine light. Do a search on how to read fault codes to find out how to count the flashes.

Edit: it says to short pins 5 - 6, a black wire and the black/white wire, i have a black one, there is no black/white one though... there is a black/yellow?

Not to worry, i found out which pin, its numbered on the plug lol. I had fault codes:

96 A/C pressure sensor fault (old code from when the aircon died)

Also, the code i swear read 34 but in my list of codes, there is no such thing as 34. So the closet 2 codes if i read wrong are:

32 Air flow sensor (voltage out of range)
35 Idle speed error (IAC valve unable to control idle speed)

so i dunno what really happened, but if the light comes up again, i guess id better get it checked out

I think the pins are numbered, if you look closely, if not count from left to right, top row.
Edit. Sorry I didn't see the reply after the one I quoted.
