hey guys just a quick question i installed a powerchip about 2 yrs ago and i want to take it out as i think it doesnt do anything but waste more fuel. when they instal it do they just overwrite the original cars ecu, and solder the new chip on. bu\y removing that it would be back to its original ecu?

Speak 2 Greenfoam a member on here he'll sort u out and b able 2 see wat changes the powerchips like assuming u have a VT V6 tho?

I just got 1 from him a few weeks back and its works like a dream, its not really a power thing being a V6 as the timing only gets advanced 4 degrees but u can still notice it on take off and through out the rev range, also made the exhaust sound better i found. Havent done a highway test yet but my 2nd last tank just got me 560kms city driving and driving it fairly hard 2, compared 2 520kms hard b4 hand. Grannying it out of my last tank got me 620kms, i wanna see if this is consistant tho as its early days 2 tell so far.
