receiver/drier wouldve been done with the regas unless it was a dodgy job...

sounds like its low on gas to me, start the car n run the a/c under the bonnet grab the 2 aircon pipes running into the cabin.. one will be pretty hot other will be fairly cold if its working at all

do you know what the running pressures were?

like i said thanks for your your input mate but it was not opened for more than 5 min and how come i can get away with changing a compressor on a vs have it off while i search the wreckers for a replacement find one and it still works fine with the same rec/drier?got me stuffed if you are right

i wasnt havin a go just saying lol

all im saying is (whether yours has worked before without doing it or not) to do it properly you have to replace it.. its like changing your oil and not the filter

ya just dont do it.. will still work but eventualy itll all catch up

its there to take the moisture out of the refrigerant obviously for a reason if its there to start with

have u put your head under dash and make sure hot/cold flap isnt stuck or vacuum operated flap failure. Recheck your pressures probably got a blockage in the tx or f/o. good luck
