My Calais climate controls kicked the bucket, fans not working on any speed, I've checked the fuse, blower motor which works when I pulled it out, and swapped relays over but no go,
The only way I can get the fan to go is bridge the relay, Which is where I'm stuck where does the signal go once it leaves the climate control module?
I've checked the connections at the back of the module and all seem good,
I couldn't find the resistor that can play up, but I'm told that the fan will only work when in high which it doesn't,
Any help would be appreaciated

I just fixed my air con in my VY yesterday by replacing the amplifier (or resistor if you prefer). I was able to replace the amplifier very easily, but it may not be in the same location on your VX.
In my VY, it is located immediately above and to the right of the blower fan. The fan wiring leads directly from the blower motor, through a small connector with a 35 amp fuse, into the amplifier. I don't know what ithe amplifier looks like on the VX or where it is located, but it is a white plastic plate, with a wiring connector, retained by two self tappers. It is much easier to locate if the glove box lid and upper cover is removed from the passengers foot well. It cost just over $80 trade (but again, this is for a VY). When I removed the old one, it had a soldered joint that had unsoldered itself.
Your Calais will require a different amplifier as it is dual zone, and you will need your VIN to ensure you get the right part.
Hi Calaber,
Thanks for the reply, I found the resistor circuit and heatsink, pain in the but to get out unless you remove the glovebox, I cleaned up the circuit board and resoldered all the points and it's a goer.
