didnt know where to put this so if its in the wrong place then let me know.
anyway, im sure its been covered before but searching did not provide the exact answer i was looking for.
so, the car is a 2001 S2 SS manual which is totally stock atm.
the future plans are exhaust, OTR and a tune and thats probably about it.
the clutch in it atm i can only assume is factory and going by the sound of it the spigot bearing is knackered.
the clutch fluid is black as well and there was mention of clutch damage when i bought it.
the extent of the damage is not known but the car does drive fine with the only issue the spigot as mentioned.
thats not to say there is more serious damage that im unaware of.
thats not really the point of the thread, more the back ground.
when it comes time to have a look and replace what needs replacing, if the whole clutch assembly needs to go will these sorts of kits be worth looking at or are they just more ebay crap?

this one is rated upto 260rwkw which if im not kidding myself, the mods i plan arent likely to get me to 260rwkw.
although 220-240rwkw might be possible, is it too close to the clutchs' ratings to bother with it?
i know Textralia are the way to go but i cant justify the expense for an everyday car that isnt banging out the power.
are there any other cheaper options out there, even clutch components and not just complete assemblies, that are worth looking at if need be?
mate u say ull probably only get a tune etc, but lets face it, your not gonna stop at that lol, not many people do. Get a Tex and do it right the first time around. i doubt an ebay kit would be any good anyways to be honest.
