    Smile ls1 TB

    Gday im thinking about upgrading my stock TB to a 80mm one my aim is to get 250 at the wheels atm i have 231kw, i have full twin 2.5" mid steel piping with headers, a over the radiator cold air intake with a k&n filter and a mafless tune, should i bother with the TB or go with something dif?

    t/b is only good for 2-7 rwhp there are better things to spend money on mate

    agreed, save the money from the t/b and go diff gears it will feel like you gained a lot more hp but you aint really t/b is not a very good thing to spend money on you wont even know its there

    yeh was thinking about the 3.9 dif gears cause mine a 6speed def thinking about it, lol thinking about alot of things cam, FAST LSX Inlet manifolds all around the shop just want that 20 more kw

    Why chase a number? Just get the car to a point where you enjoy driving it. kW numbers are purely for wank factor.

    fast manifold is not real good investment either you will be very lucky to make 20 kw from it there over rated there more for the big stroke ls motors strokers etc, the ls6 manifold is pretty good on its own i think the 2 best things you can do is cam and diff gears a average cam and springs will get you 400rwhp
    i made 420rwhp from my cammed ls1 with a big cam the lift was around 615 but you need to put new pistons with valve relief in them to fit a cam that size but a cam with like 550 lift will see you to 400 rwhp with the mods you already got mate
