All,

I have a VX S and would like to know if it is detremental to the car if it is parked on an inclined driveway facing up or down.

My main concern is that the oil will pool down one end of the sump where the pickup isn't and that when I start it up each morning the engine wont get the oil it needs. Once the car is started and im on the road it is not a problem, just the inital startup.

I only have the option of parking it on the incline due to the nature of the front of my house.

Any info or mechanical knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Scott

I don't know the answer to your question but from what you're saying maybe you could reverse it down?

Don't know if this is necessary though.

Cheers

Regardless of where you park your car I would think there is enough oil left in the bottom of the sump where the pick up is to allow enough oil to sit there until the next start up.
