Default climate control conversion amount of time? attention people that have done it

i read before hand about climate control conversions because i was very interested, and i just gave up because i thought it wouldnt be worth then i conversion kit came up, the guy said the heater box is the same, is this true?

also what sort of things are involved in the whole conversion?
is it time consuming or just plain confusing?

    cheers

Time consuming and confusing. Heater box is different, and must be changed - complete dash remove and refit involved. Climate has dual zone - heater box needs two zones. Lots of sensors, controls etc. , lots of the harness and BCM needs changing over.

People have done it - hats off to them! But I reckon they'd not do it a second time ;-)

Your correct - I would never do it again.

Pretty much as above, there's no quick n easy way to do it. Pretty much need to replace entire interior wiring harness and heater box etc. It's nice to have no doubt, and if the parts can be had cheaply enough and you have the time why not. It is however a bitch of a job
