VY ecotec into VX??

Just wondering if anyone knows if a series 2 vy ecotec will fit into my vx series 1?
It should fit being the same motor but i was wondering if i need anything extra like computer for it to work

The motor's the same but the sump is bigger on the VY (so the service interval went up to 15 000 kms) so it might have issues there
