Replace front seats

The front seats in the car are starting to look a bit ratty & I am going to replace them, the only problem is they have the air bags in them how much of a problem is it to replace them with standard (no a/bag) either from a vx or a later model ???

The seats dont have air bags in them.
The seats have the airbag sensors and wiring for the electronic lift.

Its a streight swap between VT VX and VY ... maybe VZ

Just disconnect the battery before you disconnect the wires.

wrong seats do have airbags in them they are the srs side impact airbags most seats have them acxept the executive models

I think it might be illegal to replace the seats with non airbag seats if the car came out with airbags in the seats.

you right there,, thats why if you have side air bags your seat covers must be air bag complied ,other wise the bags are going to get trapped when deployed,,

correct, you'll have to replace the seats with the same type, ie ones with SRS. or else it will be unroadworthy.

i have berlina and i dont have ide airbags, o your a little wrong there
