Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has the same weird sound my car makes at low speed.
Basically in car parks and places where the sound can bounce off, at low speed it sounds like a whooshing noise coming from the front wheels.
Would this be the rotors or from the actual wheel design themselves ?
They are calais internationals....the pizza dish type ones.
There is no shuddering or anything from the brakes.
The car is a vt exec gen3.
Just curious if its normal or If I can get it fixed ?
Cheers.
it could be something as simple as your tires? have you checked if there isnt any stones in them or something?
sometimes it can be something as stupid as that. otherwise its got me stumped
Sounds like your tires I had the same problem, put on a set of Dunlop 3000 and solved the problem![]()
Really, you reckon its the tyres ? Its quite an annoying sound
Maybe ill try rotating them, hope that might make a difference.
Be a waste to change the tyres, they are brand new, damn Falkens ! lol
if it only when turning it might be the power steering rack.
id say tires, when i brought my VT it had "Wanlie" or some terribly made Chinese Tyre and it made that noise that you describe so when i got to work i put on some dunlop 3000 and it was gone.
My wife had the same prob on her car .Turned out to be the tyres, the tread had started to separate from the tyre.
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
hey guy's well i own a 1997 vt commodore 3.8 litre it chuggs at certain revs and now has a noise coming from the internal, i replaced the plugs and i have put new ignition leads on and it is running like a shitter, only under load. once it starts to pick up it runs perfect but then once i flatten it it splutters and then stops doing it, any suggestions. there is no water in the oil or vice verser so it can't be getting into the plugs to do this. i'm stumped, any suggestions would be great
