Third Brake Light

Hi all,

I'm thinking of removing the spoiler on my Series 1 VX S Pack, but if I do so, I need to get a third brake light put in. I've heard that the slot for the light is already there, but you have to buy a globe for it. I have had a look and I don't have the spot for it, and the bottom bit of my windscreen is blacked out. There is even a little bump in the blacked out bits where the brake light would go if it was there.

How would I put a new one in?

i did this to mine and you dont have to worry about it too much. i didnt have any insurance problems when i first did it.
you cant set up the parcel shelf light because they have a different rear window i was told.

EDIT: im talking for VT so VX may be different, but generally they arnt

I suppose I could get an aftermarket one and put it up the top. Don't you legally need to have 3 brake lights?
