Engine Advice

i just killed (well still waiting for official confirmation but i dont need it) my (VT) 5.0 engine

i will be up for a new motor i know it,

can anyone recommend where i might be able to chase up a VT 5.0 engine & how much i might be looking @?,

OR

would it be an option to put a genIII in it? or would that involve too many other mods?

wreckers would be a start or you may be able to buy a whole car thats been smashed with a 5l in it for cheap.

did a head gasket, was on my way to the mechanic for that job and it dumped all the water and seized up on me ,

gem have a reco for 2100, i think thats my best option

Id try the auctions for a wrecked 5.0 VT.
depending on the severity of the damage, you could get the whole car for less (or more - depending) and flog off all the good bits that you dont want, thus recouping some $$$$.

Id steer clear of GEM as well, they arent all they are cranked up to be.
