    Default Bypass SRS

Lol bet this one gets some attention so before you read this keep in mind...

    The car in question

WILL NEVER BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!

Ok, so I have a good mate with a 97 VT exec paddock basher. we set the airbags off by accident (through a ditch) and the light came on and starts beeping... Decided to remove the Airbag, seat belts and srs computer...

Pulled the computer apart to see what was inside(as 1 would) and wrecked it

The car dosn't like us now

All I want to know is what sort of signal does the BCM get from the SRS and is there a way to emulate the srs? we don't want to spend the money on a new computer and airbag but want to get rid of the error...

    Now remember that

THIS CAR WILL NOT BE ON PUBLIC ROADS AGAIN

    Thanx in advance
    Just my 2 cents worth...

You can't get rid of the error without a Tech 2 or similar scan tool.

so the car wont run (or run properly) because the airbag system has been deployed and hasnt been 'reset' - is that correct?
