vx ss question

hai guys i was wondering if it would work to put a vx ss on gas with the gas injection system to try to protect the heads a little. anyone put one on gas or know if it can be done?

My VX SS runs on the old mixer type setup without a problem and i know of a couple of guys running the injection systems in a VY SV8 and a VE Berlina 6 litre and they get some pretty impressive economy from what i've heard
