Knocking Noise

ok well, last night i was driving my car home, after coming off the expressway i noticed a knocking noise, its not all the time, only when i decelerate and accelerate over 3000 ish revs, it only happens occasionally not all the time.

i think it might be my engine mounts as they are saggin a tad lol but i dont know need some other opinions.
oh and a tie road end boot on my car is gone i need to get that replaced.
any idea's?

Is the knock in the front of the car?
If so then yeah its possibly the mounts.

or is it when it changes gears?
or is it in the back of the car? could be diff backlash

or possibly the exhaust hitting the floor of ur car.thats what my exhaust did untill i got it fixed.but yeh my guess is its the engine mounts as mine did that too.

No diff backlash, or gearbox knock, i can only just slide a 1MM feeler gauge into the space between the sump and cross member lol. having engine mounts done Monday hopefully.
