    Default vt manaul conversion

    hi there all ! ive got major probs with me conversion on me v6 vt . ive just finished putting a manaul in & ive changed the wiring loom & now the bloody thing wont start ! it justs cranks over ! evry now & then & it wont stay going so if any one can help me at pls

    how many times have you gone over your work checking everythings pluged in? Sounds like some sensor may not be conected or a dud wire? Crank angle sensor ? Just a wild guess. Did you change your ecu as well ? Need more info

    yeah did you change the ecu and bcm and keys etc to suit
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable

    ive only changed the wiring to the computer & the one around the batt . no i havnt changed the ecu

    I'm pretty sure theres a manual ECU and an auto ECU.
    From that I'm guessing manual ECU's are hard to come by, which may be why the person who sold you the conversion kit (possibly) avoided mentioning that.

    I believe the ECU's are the same, but the tune (memcal) is different.

    The memcal experts around here should be able to confirm.

    Yep, ECU is the same, memcal is different.

    All you need to do is change the memcal, not the ECU, BCM or key...

    Easy
