Replacing Alternator in ls1

hey my alternator died and just wonder whats the best way to fix it? thanks

Replace it or get it reco'd. Does your power steer pump leak? If it does it leaks right ontop of your alternator & that will certainly shorten its life so if thats the case best to rebuild your power steer pump too.

im gonna replace... easier and i know its done... the power steering pump is fine
