Default VT ex-cop Traction control issue!

    hey guys
my mate has an ex cop VT it has traction control and when it also has lsd this is simply unacceptabe and it needs to be switched off ....

    BUT....

It has no tracton control button, no fuses or relays that are marked to have anything to do with traction control and its not linked up with the abs either as we have pulled out and played with all the fuses and relays and nothing will turn it off

Does any one have any idea how we can fix this problem
    any help would be great

ABS and TCS Control Module are the same according to the Holden Workshop manual and my gregory's one as well.

ABS works off of a Fusible Link in the engine bay and fuse 27, TCS works off of the ABS module.
The way TCS works is by applying brake pressure to the certain brakes that have lost traction, though the ABS modulator, upon the wheels braking, the vehicle regains traction. there are also various torque sensors throughout the vehicle and attached to the engine these sensors provide data to the central unit at the ABS module so that when ABS is turned off Traction Control is turned off too. so if you take out the ABS/TCS Fuse Fuse number 27, it should not operate.

Sell the car and buy one with a switch for traction control.

Sounds like you need better tyres/suspension.

The only recommended way of disabling the ETC system is to disconnect terminal 27 from the ABS/ETC Control Module connector YE98, circuit 1427, Black/White wire (actual torque). This is to be achieved by withdrawing terminal 27 from connector YE98 and taping the wire back to the main wiring harness. This will disable the ETC system while maintaining normal ABS operation.
If the ETC system is disabled, the TRAC OFF warning lamp in the instrument cluster will be permanently illuminated when the ignition is on and Diagnostic Trouble Code 74 will be logged. At no time must the ‘TRAC OFF’ warning lamp be disconnected as its function is to advise the driver that this safety feature is not available.

cut pin B11 at ecu, black/white trace.

that will disable traction control (if it has it) the wire will be there if it has it or not, this will also illuminate the light on dash permanently,

just reading through this question, my vt senator manual is the same thing, you can rev it dump it and just get a little chirp from the tyres.
this wire that can be cut/disconnected, i guess you could put in a switch of your own so as to be able to activate in times of need like wet weather or on the track?
did this fix the non wheel spinning issues for anyone?
