Acclaim VT Series 2 - V6

Hey guys,

i need a bit of urgent advice, i will be purchasing a VT 99 series 2 tomorrow however i wanted to get some feedback from some current owners, if you own a VT series 2 could you please respond with any troubles you have had with this car or praise.

this would be greatfully appreciated!

I own a Series II S' pac Manual. Only problems I have had - The Manual Gear box. Tell me when it isn't a problem always something going wrong with it. Engine can be noisy if you don't use the correct oil but always Holden serviced every 5,000 never had a problem in the 55,820k's she has on her.

Yeah this VT has 129,000 on it which is something i was not innitially keen on but it is incredibly immaculate from head to toe, inside and out.
I am going to consider upgrading the engine, either by supercharging the V6 or dropping in the V8.
Does anybody know how easy it would be to put a new (rec'd 99 HSV VT)
engine into an acclaim wagon?, would be good to gather some info so i know which way to blow my money!.
