VX Convert from Manual to Auto

Hi All,
My ride is a VX S Series 2, 5 speed, which i've had since new, and just on 140,000 km.
The car is near perfect, the only problem so far being a new clutch at 110K.
Right now at the point where i'm over the whole clutch & changing gears thing.
Seen plenty of threads asking about auto to manual conversion.

Is it possible (& how much $) to convert from manual to an auto?

A new car is not in my budget at the mo, so wondering is this a viable option?
Any leads on where to go in SE Melbourne appreciated.

Lots of people seem to want to convert to manual, maybe you could do a swap with someone. They will have what you need and you will have what they need. It should end up costing both of you nothing if you do the work yourselves.

definitely not worth your time, sell the car, buy a new one in same condition but an auto, and you will also have money left over.

As Red says, sell your manual.. you will fetch more for it than that an Auto will cost you to buy. Manuals are a rare case to come by, dont convert it
