    Fitting VY mirrors onto a VT, how simple? Is really it.. are they buy and swap simple or modifications required?

    I did this to my VT 2 years ago (i've since put VT ones back on). They fit the same no mods required, the wiring plug is the same.

    Looks pretty damn good actually, better then the shrek ears the VTs have, and the car is in my colour with a similar kit.

    I think i might give that a bash in the coming weeks.

    I was told only certain model side mirrors will go on i.e WK statesman side mirrors wont go on a commy, so that if i want VY mirrors on my car they have to come off an exec through to calais model, is that true?

    they look ok! and yeah diffrent, but im a fan of the factory round ones to suit the smooth body shape personal!

    Yeah I did this too. VY/VZ mirrors are the same and will fit VT/VX doors. Its three bolts plus the wire connector you need to remove. Its a simple thing only problem is taking to door trims off, make sure if you have wind up windows to buy a window winder remover, makes life alot easier.
