Hi all... I have a wh stato Gen111 i am just wondering if i really need to replace the standard timming chain with a double row chain when i fit the cam or is the standard chain strong enough? being only new to this site and first time v8 owner would appreciate any help

depending on how many kms your car has done the original one is proberly streched anyway so why not change it to a double while your there, saves the old one breaking down the road, as for needing it for a new cam im not sure but as said you may as well get one
