Headlights wont turn off with door
hey guys i have a vt exec and i changed the bcm a while ago and the ecu. anyway now when i realised when i take the key out of the ignition and open the door the headlights dont turn off like most vt's.
i have changed the drivers door switch but no luck what could be the problem??. thanks in advance
ALSO REALISED WHEN I LOCK THE CAR WITH REMOTE THEY DONT TURN OFF!
my old vt never turned its light off when i locked the car only after a few minutes it turns itself off
the lights are controlled by a relay in the bcm, when the right front door jamb is open it turns the lights off. but since you have change that,
it leaves the wiring from the switch to the bcm or the bcm its self. was it a second hand bcm or new?
hey its a second hand bcm i pulled it out of a car. but everything else is working perfectly. what do u think i should do?
