Default 00' wh statesman - now for sale

Hey all, this is my 2000 WH Statesman. It has the LS1 5.7L V8 with a chrome intake pipe, K&N pod filter with a SS Inductions cold air intake, NGK Iridium plugs, MSD 8.5mm leads, twin 2-1/2" cat back exhaust dumped @ the diff with a flange plate on the rear tailpipe so it can be a full exhaust again in about 5 minutes, 20" VERDE Madonna rims, Bridgestone Potenza 245/35 tyres, Kings super low front & ultra low rear springs, de-badged except for bonnet emblem, Caprice grille & 5% black windows. I bought the car for a daily & to tow the race car. Enjoy......

Welcome to the forum mate, good to see another WH on here. Love the wheels, they suite her well. That 5% tint defiantly setts it off as well. Get it blown though don’t go turbo, superchargers so much more street friendly.

So you reckon a supercharger is the go over a turbo hey...... Why would a positive displacement blower be better than a centrifugal blower on a towcar?

Positive displacement will pretty much make boost from the get go but probably not as much power top end while centrifugal will take a few revs to get going but make more power top end. I wouldn't rule out turbo though, a right sized twin turbo set up (smallish turbos) can make some pretty good low down touque and good top end grunt.

I replaced the air shocks with the new Monroe GT Sport lowered shocks, all the ar pump & lines are still there.
