Its such a nice smooth car to drive, even the acceleration is smooth and effortless. Its such a comfortable car comming from a VR, the seats are nice, your feet sink into the soft floor.

Mint SS gren. Could possibly have a maf tune. You've got the JHP 100mm maf pipe by the looks of things. Have a look at your airbox, it should have two stinking great holes in the front of it, if not, it's Monaro two hole mod time. Zero cost mod and a little extra go.

Yeah I did notice the huge JHP badges in the door sills this morning. Ill go have a look in a sec at the air box.

Its getting a DUS OTR and a Malfess probally next week anyway so its not a big deal. Its supposed to have a bigger Throttle Body, Ill rip the pipe off later and get a better look.

Ive already realised what every one has been telling me. Black cars are a bitch to keep clean. I washed it right after I got it, drove home and its already dirty.

I am extremely happy though, the torque and the power is amazing.

its a really nice car, and good to drive, dunno bout the maf pipe though since the one nanos orignally had on his VX was bigger then the one on yours though, will measure it tommorow.

Hahaha, man tell me about it, i'm glad mine lives in a lock up garage, otherwise i'd never bother washing it. Black is a whore to keep clean and scratch free. Lose that towbar though! Will save some weight Rip thos engine covers off and get it down to Chevs

How many people left in the validated Vic chapter with V6's now? I think we all own V8's now.

Yeah the bloke who sold it to me didnt have the tow bar thing, so it will come off pretty quickly.

Was just looking through the books, looks like its already spent some time at Chevs. Has had a few services done there.

Originally we agreed on 13000 with roadie. He rang me a few days later told me what needed doing on the roady (tint to dark, to low and needs new rear tyres) and said itll be another couple of days to a week I didnt want to wait and didnt want the car to be raised so I told him Ill take it without a roady and ended up paying 12500 with just a smudge over 170,000 on the clock.

Ive got a mate whos a tinter so itll cost bugger all to get tint removed and redone, and I'm picking up a set of 18 inch VT GTS rims so tyres arent really an issue. Im sure I can get someone to slide on the suspension because its not as low as I first thought.

pretty good price mate. bit of a bargin i reckon. and 170,000km is nothing on these engines.

Yeah he said he'd take 13 off me and I just gave him the deposit and said see ya next week. The other one I was looking at was a Series 1 same color, 6 speed etc but was 14,500 firm, so yeah I think I got a bit of a bargain seeing that a lot of the 6 speeds are still selling for upwards of 14-15.
